Father of 3, Grand dad to 5!

“When I think of what it means to be a father….It’s the ultimate in life!

I am very fortunate to have 3 wonderful children who all have different strengths and personalities and who all share the same ethics and values.

The best part of being a father is that I am able to teach and guide my children through the various stages of their life.  It can be a challenging journey, however very fulfilling when you see the results of your efforts, it is the most satisfying feeling!

Considering that we all work together, we do spend a lot of family time together! We really enjoy and respect each others company. We have many lunches and dinners together that always involve lots of laughing and great memories.

Being a father is the ultimate in life, however the joy and excitement of being a grandfather is absolutely fulfilling and rewarding! It’s the reward of fatherhood- the absolute ultimate!”

“My 2 girls are still young and I have enjoyed the journey so far. What I enjoy is teaching them and instilling values and morals in this changing world. We learn from each other and their love for me and my love for them is unconditional.

There is nothing better than going home after a challenging day and seeing the smiles of my girls, the stress of the day is just taken away! Being a dad makes me feel proud and it is rewarding especially seeing them achieve their goals on the way. My girls love to draw and write, and I absolutely love it when I receive drawings and letters from them! AND they are just toooooo CUTE!”

“I have 2 children, Angelica is 5 ½ and Charlie is 4.

They’re pretty close together in age and size and we are constantly asked if they’re twins. Whilst they’re not twins, they are double trouble!

The first time your child calls you “dad” is pretty special, but to be honest every time I call home and they come running down the hall screaming “hi dad” still melts my heart.

They love being read to so I will try and get home every night for bedtime and read to them and then go out to finish my appointments.

Bali holidays are our favourite thing to do as a family so we try and get there at least twice a year. The kids love the fact that I don’t have to go to work the whole time we’re there!  They also love all the pizza and ice cream they get to eat of course!

Being a dad has definitely changed my outlook on life and shifted my priorities.

As a parent, you just want to raise your children to be compassionate, caring, hardworking and happy people and we certainly hope we are achieving that.

Ultimately, the best thing about being a dad is all the hugs and kisses. I really hope that doesn’t stop as they get older!
