5 Minutes with Dominic

If you were a room in your dream home, which room would you be and why?

The shed – ideally a 4 car garage. As a past auto electrician I still have a passion for fixing anything mechanical so as a hobby I like to relax by using my tools on cars, motorbikes, scooters and even lawn mowers!

Describe your typical #LimniosLife day in the office?

I get up early to go for a run, do some gardening or fix something around the house. I get in the office around 9am as I like to drop my kids off at school in the morning. First thing I do is check and respond to my emails. Then I have a quick meeting with my business partner and wife to see where we’re at and what needs to be done for listings, prospecting, data base, etc. Then I call clients, research the market, prospect for new business. I’m usually out and about in the afternoon with client meetings, inspections and appraisals going on into the evening. I often come home after a busy day, have some family time and then go in my shed to unwind.

Why Sales and Why Limnios?

My initial interaction with Limnios was when I bought an apartment off the plan through them. I knew James and Rob from school so when we got talking we picked up on our similar strong work ethics, family values and personality traits such as persistence and determination. They introduced me to Sales and

although the initial transition was tough, I have never looked back and I am proud of what I have achieved.

What’s your greatest achievement outside of work and why?

Aside from my wife and two daughters, my biggest achievement has been my personal transition – from being an industry recognized auto electrician, rolling up my sleeves and getting my hands dirty in various workplaces including the mines and in and around country and metro areas to then swapping the overalls for a suit and tie, my tools are now a mobile phone, keyboard and mouse and fixing all sorts of problems (instead of machinery) as I help clients achieve their property goals. Whatever it takes – I still roll up my sleeves and get in hands on!
